The request:

A cultural transformation for a ‘speak-up’ environment and resources to have courageous conversations. Training for the Asia Pacific heads of employee resource groups, cultural ambassadors and influential leaders for them to be able to promote and advise on DEI.

Inclusion Theatre

Our solution:

Inclusion Theatre (on-line interactive drama): After assessment, we created video footage showcasing themes to focus on. We then ran several on-line Inclusion Theatre workshops with a facilitator and actors in character engaged in courageous conversations with the participants combining video and in-person interaction.

Train the Trainer Video toolkits: The videos were then
re-packaged with a facilitator guide and all material to deliver workshops internally (without actors). The participants were trained as facilitators to be able to
scale and continue courageous conversations

Transformation and Outcomes:

  • Confident and capable influencers and leaders facilitating courageous conversations on DEI embedding the practice into the culture and leveraging their credibility.
  • DEI messaging and call to action was scaled in a cost effective way to all at the company with a catalogue of engaging and interactive material and skill-full DEI leadership.
  • The organisation began to move the needle on DEI taking their internal initiatives from ‘reactionary’ to ‘progressive’.
